I found the program when I went to get my godaddy login - it was in the topveg box!??Is it the movie studio+dvd. Should I get rid of the one already on my system - if so will I loose the video?

Hi Sally,
Sounds like a brilliant idea. My sister has two boys (8 and 4) and mum and dad often talk about needing a grandparents bag with bits and bobs in for the boys.
I think it's good that its niche as more specific websites do well as they are more focused. There is alot of mileage to discuss useful products to have in the home when the grandchildren stay and things to have when on the move with them. You can make money via promoting affiliate products.
You will also do well as you are speaking from exprience.

Hi Sally, that seems a really good idea. Baby equipment has altered so much over the years and now there are things that seem to make things so much easier for everyone - but of course Grannie's won't have any knowledge of all these items.

I am thinking of another site - with a view to making some money.

It is a bit of a niche - but there seems to be a gap in the market for Grannies' equipment- what a granny needs in her house to keep the parents happy when they are leaving their baby.

Thinking of calling it GoingToGrannies.com

Hi, When I go to my email at birdtablenews@googlemail.com it does not appear on the screen properly. On the left hand side (where the categories are) it is overtyped and cannot be read. The actual area of the email that is written on cannot be read properly I cannot scroll down the email - the screen seems to be stuck so far down. This means I can't read any email that is sent to me

Could this be due to screen resolution?

Hi Andy, pleased that you were doing work on FOW and that's why I couldn't log in. I was thinking that maybe someone spam / virus was causing it and that's why I wrote the previous post and told you about it.

Tiscali have deleted my lawty@lineone.net email account without telling me. They will not support a lineone account any more.

I have one or two accounts linked to my lawty@lineone.net account

Adsense is one. I cannot log into adsense at all and cannot see how to change my email address

Amazon Associates UK is another. I can log into Amazon Associates but the problem is that the primary email address is lawty@lineone.net - which is now dead. This is the email Amazon are sending information to about my account - such as what money I have earned. To change this primary email address I have to send a confirmation code to lawty@lineone.net and I cannot do this.
I have looked and cannot see another way to change my lawty@lineone.net account. So I'm not receiving any emails at all from Amazon Associates and haven't been doing for ages. Any advice welcome

Oooh. Well I could turn the comments off on older posts. But some people are still picking up posts I did ages ago.

The other week someone from Yorkshire Wildlife Trust got in touch with me about a post I did in 2009 about a dew pond. They want to come and see this dew pond.

they got in touch with me by putting a comment in. I suppose they could use the contact form if I turned comments off. Thanks very much for your help

MEMORIES OF A MEDIC I haven't been into Memories of a Medic at all for ages. I have 465 comments in pending. I should think they are all spam. the only way I can see to delete them is to move them ten at a time to trash and then click on EMPTY TRASH. Is this the only way. I don't get emails for them

As you get emailed when comments arrive that is why you get the comment to moderate and the email.

It all depends how you want to manage your comments really Trish.

No it doesn't effect things. I would suggest you keep it at 1024 x 768 anyway.

Hi everyone,

When I go to Google Earth it says my screen resolution is set smaller than 1024 x 768 and I should click their tab to change it. I'll be able to view Google Earth better if I do change the resoultion, but will it affect Bird Table News or other computer things if I change the resolution.

I get the same spam comments showing on Bird Table News and on my email account

It's a pain deleting all of them. Is there a short way to delete them or is there a way to stop spam email appearing on both my email and on birdtablenews.

Hi Sally,

Go into your wordpress admin.

In the left hand side menu choose - Settings, Discussion.

Approximately the 6th check box down is "automatically close comments older than". Check this and choose your age of post. eg. older than 14 days.

At the bottom of the right hand side of the add new post page, are twitter tools. You can click that to add the post to twitter. But it does not seem to work for me!!

I think you can do it through friendfeed too
